The Gautham Menon and Harris Jayeraj combo has done wonders. Will A.R. Rahman and Gautham also manage to create success? That’s pretty much the question everyone has been asking ever since it was known that they will work together. The movie in question?*Vinnaithandi Varuvaya* starring Simbu and Trisha. While Harris is known for his simple melodies, Rahman is almost inseparable from his complex compositions. The *Vinnaithandi Varuvaya* team was off to Malta to film a song, that insiders say was actually sing by A.R. Rahman itself. The tune is his usual jazzy style and it was choreographer Flexy Stu who got the lead pair grooving. The *Vinnaithandi Varuvaya* team is completely ecstatic about the tunes ARR has come up with, fresh from the Oscar victory. Let’s just hope it has the same impact on the audiences as well. According to insiders, all major parts of the movie have been shot – just a few small portions remain.
