Folks!
You might recall, 1998 saw an amazing track that did not deserve an early
death. The track was from a movie called Kabhi Na Kabhi composed by AR Rahman
during his early days in the Hindi filmdom.The awesome song “ Mere Saari Subah”
sung by the nightingale Chitra and M Sreekumar had a ambient feel with a superb
groove and carnatic rhythm. Chitra being a superb singer that she is hits very
high notes with ease while the low notes are well taken care of the melodious
Sreekumar.This is an amazingly romantic track that has a pace and restlessness
of it own. I happened to play this track by accident after some 3 years and it
just blew my mind. This track was way ahead of its time.
I thought it was time to resurface this track with elements that we have
accumulated since the last 11 years.
