Let's cut through all the sounds, arrangements, bells, whistles, what have you and just look at the raw melodies that AR has been churning out for years.....just the tunes. When is comes to the slower numbers esp., there is nobody else out there IMO who creates as strong and impactful melodies, pure tunes, as AR. And each time, he does it so originally and fresh....don' t know how the well never runs dry, except that his creative process is truly divinely influenced. There are lots of other MDs out there whose tunes I love.....MM Kreem, Moitra, Bharadwaj, SEL, etc. etc., but as far as the sheer strength and impact of pure melody, AR is second to none.
