To explain Rahman's music , here is an analogy. If a 4 year old kid has heard only rhymes all its life & feels extremely happy hearing them.. its good. But where does the musical knowledge & Taste Expand.. Someone has to de-program the human brain to make it unlearn the fixed patterns that it recognizes in music and be able to see the new patterns. That is exactly what ARR's music does to me.. That is ARR's greatest achievement for me personally.. he has been able to make me digest different types of music & enjoy them!! I'm glad he keeps evolving.. I thank God his music is constantly changing , exploring diffferent patterns of tunes & Genres, and along the way I pick up something new...
