Amish and Rodney, two diehard fans of Rahman, have joined hands to bring out the album 'Thamizha Oscar Thamizha' as their tribute to the double Oscar winner. The duo's second album after 'Isaikaatru' is an amalgam of five songs and an instrumental piece. The high point of the album is that each song is penned by a different lyricist carrying the themes of inspiration, success and celebration, says creative head Amish. According to the album's composer Rodney, it is their way of paying tribute to a musical wizard whose music has traversed international boundaries. The idea to write the lyrics in Tamil was to cater to a larger audience, according to Ponmurugesan, among the five privileged ones to pen the lyrics. Prominent singers Haricharan, Keith Peters and Rahul Nambiar have rendered these songs. The album has already hit the stands, which should be music to the ears of music buffs. http://tamil.galatta.com/entertainment/livewire/id/Amish_and_Rodney_pays_tribute_to_Rahman_29521.html -- regards, Vithur
