I hear one song a day "in the loop" for an hour or two. This is the only way I
can fully enjoy the bouquet and heavenly flavor, in all respects, of the
divinely compositions of the Great ARR. And the instruments, pauses, chorus,
beats and especially the sharp and the not so sharp turns and twists can only
be adored by me that way. My humble observation is that whatever be the genre
of the song melody, pop or whatever, ARR composes any, I repeat any, song with
a unique dedication and whatever comes to his genius musical mind-supreme,? he
works? in to that composition turning a song in to a symphony. Many a composer
would have made ten songs out of one composition of ARR. We know composers
building up tune-banks for future use. My imagination tells me that ARR feels
that all should go into the song on hand. No saving tunes. Next song will get
its quota when its time comes. Though I do not know tamil, I dare cite three
compositions which made a classic out of , otherwise, ordinary songs viz.
Sakkara enakkare, Thaniye than thaniye, varah nadi kare [sorry for the
spellings]. While appreciating or while making a feeble attempt to understand?
the works of a genius, one is lucky if he reaches the fringe. I am happy if I
reached the fringe. I pray the Lord to further energize the Maestro, to keep us
happy. I am proud I am his contemporary. That I consider an honor .
