Thumri is not a Raag..its a style of Song..like Khayal,Dhrupad,Dadra,Kajri,Tappa,Tarana...in classical music..the best eg.of Thumri wud be 'Chhodo mori bainya' frm Zubeidaa...Thumri comes into Light Classical Genre...Shobha Gurtu,Laxmi Shankar,Girija Devi...r stalwarts of this style....nyways....Raavan is gonna be worth all the wait!swaps
