Thumri is not a Raag..its a style of Song..like 
Khayal,Dhrupad,Dadra,Kajri,Tappa,Tarana...in classical music..the best eg.of 
Thumri wud be 'Chhodo mori bainya' frm Zubeidaa...Thumri comes into Light 
Classical Genre...Shobha Gurtu,Laxmi Shankar,Girija Devi...r stalwarts of this 
style....nyways....Raavan is gonna be worth all the wait!swaps

There is a song by Sukhwinder Singh. Rekha Bhardwaj got a song called "Ranjhna 
Ranjhna" in raag Thumri and now song by Asha Bhosle (which most likely is also 
classical singing based song) and there is Taandav dance (instrumental) . 



O man! This 6 month wait of audio release is definitely gonna kill me
