if anyone expects Hollywood movies to have 5 or 6 songs and dance numbers to ARR's music, then they r going to be disappointed. Even Jai Ho was a great piece of fortune. That does NOT mean ARR should not do Hollywood movies... the Reqmt is different. and its a completely different world. Some of the greatest Composers have been doing only Soundtracks for movies (Ennio Morricone, Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams) Their songs r not going to be heard by the masses or on the clubs.. but I want ARR to show the world he is as good as them because he IS. To get into the mainstream US public, then the way to go is pop albums. Even there, most of the female singers get the lime light rather than the composer..
