FFK Director K R Mohanan said that the artistes will be honoured at the inauguration ceremony of the festival, which begins from December 11. Veteran filmmaker Mrinal Sen has also been invited to the festival and a retrospective of his films will be held during the event. Retrospectives of Mexican director Arturo Ripsten, Japanese director Mikio Naruse, French filmmaker Jacques Tati and Malayalam director Lohitadas will also be held.
