Friends, Can we compile a list of unreleased/shelved/unfinished films/albums/tracks or A.R.Rahman. I suggest we generate a list and finally put everything on a excel document or something like that. The objective is to get an idea about how much music is lying in cans.
I wish if ARR, being on this forum, could see the list, he can try to release them on KM music. The albums/tracks i remember are as below: 1. Tara Rum Pum Pum (Dir: Shekhar Kapur) - ARR recorded few songs (this was the film in which Shaan worked with ARR for the first time i think) 2. Lajjo (Dir: Maniratnam) - ARR-Gulzar already did some work for this film but the film got shelved. 3. Waqayya or something (Dir: Shivendra) - Apparently, the first film in ARR-Gulzar combination. 4. Return of Thief of Baghdad (Dir: Unknown) - ARR did record some music for this. 5. Bhairavi (Dir: Rakesh Mehra) - Did ARR record any classical songs? 6. Bombil & Beatrice (Dir: Kaizad Gustad) - I think the music is recorded. 7. Engineer (Dir: Unknown) - The jinxed Arvind Swamy-Madhuri Dixit film, for which ARR scored some songs. 8. Conference of Birds (A Pvt Album) 9. Rashq (Dir: Raj Kumar Santoshi) - The original "London Dreams", that was to have Shah Rukh & Aamir Khan. Did ARR record any stuff? 10. Taj Mahal (Dir: Bharat Bala) - Imax film. 11. Marmayogi (Dir: Kamal Haasan) - ARR recorded 2 songs, according to Kamal Haasan. 12. Yelelo (Dir: Parthiban) - Sudha Raghunathan renedered an excellent carnatic number during the launch. 13. Chamki Chameli (Dir: Shyam Benegal) - Some operatic music has been created.
