Kamal Hassan and AR Rahman will be given CNN IBN Indian of the year 2009 in the category winners and special honours section, today by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. In the category winners award AR Rahman has won in the Entertainment category. In other categories the winners are Rahul Gandhi for politics, Saina Nehwal in sports, Satyam Revival team in Business and Pratham in Public Service. In the Special Awards category, Kamal Hassan has won the Special Achievement Award, which has also been given to Indian Test Cricket Team.
