Amidst the Grammy Nomination, VTV and other truck loads of awards, i wish to divert your attention to an absolute stunner of a track from Rangeela. This track from Rangeela. Mangtha Hai Kya. It has this amazing freshness even after over a decade of release. There is has been no such track since it was made by Rahman.He himself didn't attempt anything in this direction. The infectious rhythm and the piano creates a cool ambient effect which is so not typical of a bollywood number. Even today. This remains one of my top 10 best by Rahman. And now i present a mellow club mix (with care and respect). Sort of Deep House meets Ambient variant with loads of Rhodes thrown in. Its very easy on your ears and makes you shake ya leg a bit.
