Post Rock On, the expectations were high and the trio has been successful in 
recreating magic this year by giving exceptional albums like Wake up Sid, Luck 
By Chance and London Dreams.

The versatility and the newness were felt with their every album. Wake Up Sid 
was extremely refreshing, catchy and well suited the taste of today's youth. 
Luck By Chance was something unique, unconventional and yet pretty likeable as 
well as enjoyable. London Dreams was a power-pack album.

Full of energy, liveliness and dynamism, the album was an instant favourite of 
the masses.


4- Vishal Bharadwaj-

Like his direction, the way of composing music too is eccentric and atypical. 
Kaminey was a real magnum opus from Vishal Bharadwaj.

Vishal composed six tracks: energetic, romantic, murky, aesthetic and boasting, 
with each song encompassing a totally different feel from the other.

A sure shot winner and a dhinchaak album from the composer creating hullabaloo 
all over.


3- Amit Trivedi-

After an impressive debut with Aamir last year, Amit Trivedi delivers one of 
the most stimulating and challenging album of the year Dev D. Amit Trivedi 
comes up with his second movie score which is just the most radical mainstream 
Bollywood album ever.

Trivedi composed as many as 18 tracks: angry rock, real classical, honey-soaked 
melodies, novel fusion and some plain good music, each track comprising of some 
unique feeling.

The album made the nation go crazy with its eccentric style and left the 
listeners startling


2- Pritam Chakraborty-

This composer is on the run and has made it big in the Bollywood in a very 
short period. The music maestro is known for his fast-pacy numbers, energetic 
songs, authentic guitar tracks and soothing romantic numbers.

The list of his composition is never ending and has delivered surely the 
biggest albums of the year. However to name a few Billu Barber, New York, Tum 
Mile, Love Aaj Kal, Tum Mile, All The Best and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani were 
exhilarating and premium compositions.

In short this is Pritam's year, delivering chartbusters by dozens all through 
the year. 


1- A.R. Rahman-

This music composer needs no description. A.R. Rahman deserves every bit of 
appreciation from the entire country for giving phenomenal albums and 
outstanding music for over a decade.

But this year was special as the composer was internationally acclaimed and 
given the Oscar's for his masterpiece Slumdog Millionaire, making every Indian 
proud. A.R. Rahman also delivered this year albums like Delhi-6 which had roots 
of the Indian origin with loads of classical music embed in it and Blue being 
totally different with western touch filled with tons of spunk and attitude.

A.R. Rahman has proved time and again that he is one of the finest and premium 
music composers around the globe.
