[image: 'Why I chose Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya' - Silambarasan] Actor
Silambarasan is on cloud nine as his upcoming film “Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’
has been publicized globally. It’s worth mentioning that for the first time,
a Tamil film’s teaser was telecasted in BBC. Indeed, A.R. Rahman’s interview
with this satellite channel turned to be the most attention-grabbing program
on that day of “VTV’ audio launch in London.

Actor Simbhu admits that Gowtham Menon narrated him couple of stories: an
action-packed thriller and a breezy romantic entertainer, out of which he
preferred doing the second one. Says Simbhu: “I have already done many
action films and wanted to do something different on the lines of Minnale.’

The film’s storyline is much similar to Minnale where the protagonist
Karthik (Silambarasan), an aspiring filmmaker is willing to give up his
profession for the sake of his ladylove Jessie (Trisha).
