My list will stand like this. 1. Delhi 6 . . . . . . 2. AlaiPayuthe / Saathiya 3. Boys 4. Jaane Tu 5. Kandukondaen Kandukondaen 6. RDB 7. Kannathil Muthamittal 8. Swades 9. Lagaan 10. VTV
As I kept making this list, I had the following thoughts. 1. I liked the music in both of Rakyesh OM's films very very much. I did not watch Delhi 6. But I hope they combine together for the next movie too. 2. I have only 2 of Manirathnam's movies in the list. I doubt if it would be the same if I had to make a list of the 90's. 3. I personally love commercial music like Boys and Jaane Tu (if u can call it so) more than the classy stuff (Water, Bose, JA, etc), including those fun and commercial songs, which supposedly wears down after the initial high. 4. Most eager for VTV. Jan 12th will be a special day. 5. I had never expected to change my most favourite ARR album from Dil Se. But I guess, if I had to make a new list, it will have to be Delhi 6, followed by Dil Se at a close second (and Thiruda Thiruda at 3). Happy Birthday Dear ARR. Love you much. Regards, Mugilan.
