Blu-ray is an optical disc that carries high definition video and truly lossless audio (Dolby TrueHD / DTS HD) i.e. Original Studio Master!!!...The sound that you hear in a DVD is not completely lossless...and now tell me isn't it real fun to watch the movie in a good HDTV hooked with a 7.1 Home theatre system??
