Great points, man! I too agree that AR has moved away from overt Indian sounds and styles in recent works to have a more international music appeal with a broad Western sound base with ethnic Indian-ness being more subtle. I also agree that in many ways, VTV is ahead of its time....like all path-breaking works, it's initially met with skepticism and sometimes, rejection, but over time, seen better once the "rest" have caught up! And finally, great point about how music is really subjective in interpretation and that should be independent of another's views.
