MUMBAI: According to recent reports, A R Rahman has been asked to compose a song on the lines of Vande Mataram for the for the World Classical Tamil Conference to be held in June 2010. Tamil Nadu CM Karunanidhi has shown interest in the idea of bringing in the ace composer. The track will also have a video directed by Shankar (of Robot fame). The song will be unveiled at the time of the event. After a busy 2009, this year Rahman has some major projects lined up besides the Jai Ho concert in Muscat and Australia. The awards galore continue this year too as Slumdog Millionaire has picked up two nominations at the Grammies.
