This year, unsubstantiated reports have already announced the nominations for the Filmfare Awards, while we here at Filmfare are still counting the votes! On his twitter, editor Jitesh Pillaai says, "Some rookie reporter has assumed about Filmfare nominations and written a shabby piece in some newspaper. We are still counting votes. Ha ha ha." And the official status on the Filmfare Awards nominations is: "When the nominations are ready, we'll announce them HERE & on Filmfare.com FIRST! Not to some other mag/site/newspaper/tv channel! The Filmfare nominations will be available FIRST on Filmfare.com & here (the official Filmfare twitter)." So while this has provided some laughs at the Filmfare office, we hope you, our precious readers, don't fall for hoax announcements by other media.
