I'd like to put out a cautionary statement out here about AR not winning awards
as we might expect. For 2009, to me, Delhi 6 is the best music album hands
down. It's as close to a perfect music album as you can get IMO, showcasing
AR's magic and strengths in tremendous form. However, there were other good
albums this year and unfortunately, the awards are also about film popularity.
Delhi 6 as a film bombed, which hurts the music's changes of bagging all the
awards.

Honestly, I think ARR and his music are above awards, although I still hope he
wins each time and I'm happy when he does. When he doesn't win, like the AV
Max awards, I feel disappointed, but also happy that another composer, like
Amit Trivedi, won....he's young, he needs encouragement. I'm sure AR himself
would be happy for him. AR himself is very cool about awards too....if it's
meant to be, it will happen, if not, well, that's part of the plan...just go
with the flow.

While we can express disappointment here about AR not winning an award for the
2009 year, let's keep things in perspective as far as the awards go....AR has
already proven himself time and again and the recognition, respect, praise for
him will keep mounting.....awards or not.
