*Mumbai: *Pritam is known to be a workaholic and the last year he ended up with 13 releases, his highest so far. The music director already has 11 films lined up for release this year and the number is only going to increase in the coming months. <http://www.dnaindia.com/img/1341556.jpg> <http://www.dnaindia.com/img/1341556.jpg> Pritam Chakraborty talks about why awards elude him despite being a successful music director. The workaholic that Pritam is, he took his first tiny break in the last one-and-a-half years, when he went off to Goa recently. “The main reason why I end up doing so many projects is that I am unable to say ‘no’ to anyone. I don’t think I’m that stressed though. Many music directors do that much work. I think Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy do around nine projects every year. In fact, Himesh used to do much more work than me,” he says. Despite doing so many film tracks, awards have always eluded Pritam so far. “I won the Producers Guild Awards recently but I never win an award when the jury is involved. I really don’t know why,” he says. On most occasions he has lost out to AR Rahman despite multiple nominations, each year since 2006. “I am okay with Rahman winning the award because he’s very good. I remember there was one year when I had three nominations and yet I didn’t win,” he says, adding, “you know, RD Burnman didn’t win an award till *Love Story*, which was much later in his career. Jatin-Lalit haven’t won the big award either despite some great music. I’ll probably end up like RD Burman some day,” he jokes. http://www.dnaindia.com/entertainment/report_i-can-t-say-no_1341555 I say ... Thank god .. He was Just Joking at the last part :-) -- - Regards ~ ~ A.R.Rajib ~ ~
