Dear all I did a dip-stick study and i find that Rahman is now part of a very exclusive club of Academy and Grammy winners for the same assesment year.
And i think Rahman is only next to Howard Shore (Lord of the rings) to pick up awards from all nominated catagories for the same project. Now this is actually huge. If you want to push it a little further, Rahman is the only composer to pick-up 2 Academy Awards and 2 Grammies for the same project in the same assesment year. So, in a way he leads the pack making him one of world's best.Just look at the names he is in league with! Heres something for reference.
