Leading original track singers of Oscar-winning musician A.R. Rahman will appear on stage to “pay tribute and celebrate his success” at a charity event here on February 28. The likes of Benny Dayal, Srinivas, Suresh Peters, Naresh Iyer, Haricharan, Timothy Madhukar, Sujatha, Swetha Mohan, Suvi Suresh and a few more, will render peppy numbers of the Grammy award winning Rahman from various movies including his debut work Roja, a release here said. Titled ‘Rahmania,’ the event is organised in aid of A.R. Rahman Foundation, a social organisation and another organisation involved in helping children with autism and dyslexia, the release said adding the event is “being organized in Chennai to pay tribute and celebrate the success of A.R. Rahman.” “All the original track singers of Rahman will assemble on a single stage to pay tribute to him, under the musical event, Rahmania,” the release said.
