On his fourth visit to the country, this time for personal reasons, Luhrmann said, “Visiting here is cathartic. Now I have to figure out how to use all I have seen and experienced.” *
*As an artist he believes he can exploit any medium. “I can paint or maybe tell a story or make a film. There is no end to creativity; everything is part of the process and this can help me create something in my films too.” Had he watched any Indian films? “Yes I saw ‘Lagaan’ and I think Aamir Khan is a fine actor.” Meanwhile he is looking forward to collaborating with A.R.
