The Chennai based Tanvi Shah, a popular playback singer became the first
women from India to win a Grammy Award for her part in the song *Jai Ho*.

She shares the Grammy with AR Rahman and poet and lyricist Gulzar.

Tanvi wrote the Spanish lyrics which were part of the superhit song and was
also one of the singers who rendered it.

"It was a wild ride and I feel blessed although it has been a roller coaster
ride. I hope it goes this way. I'm going to work 500 percent harder. Am
quite superstitious about my projects. Getting quite a few good projects.
You'd certainly come to know," said Tanvi Shah, Grammy Award Winner.
