As an AR fan learn 2 things AR is an ambassador of peace and music is his medium. Dont let or indulge yourself where a debate can turn unhealthy circumstances or fight. Debating is always good as long as both parties are benefitted with knowledge from each other.
And coming to a "purest" Carnatic composition from AR I dont think he has done it neither has any other MD where the substance is a film music of recent times. One has to resort to what is called as "mishr" formation and AR is very clever in doing it which many sarcastically call it "cunning way". The result is half the people enjoy it and the other half who analyse finds his genius hidden. What AR many times does it extracts (exploits) the blend of a raag and carefully fuses it with other and this can be done by the only who are well versed and have every raag in their mind always.
