* * *Moving on* “I've had enough of doing ‘two-piece' sequences in films. It's probably time to get others to do the same,” laughs Sona. From being an actor (she's starred in more than 35 films) to a boutique owner, Sona has drifted back into films, turning into a distributor with *Goa,* and now, a producer with a strangely-titled film — *2010 Bhagyaraj*! “It will be directed by newcomer Tirumalairajan; I was convinced about this comical thriller, and decided to produce it,” informs Sona. It has Premgi as hero and Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music. No more acting, Sona? “I would love to do negative roles and am waiting for the right one to come my way. Meanwhile, I am enjoying multi-tasking.” *Stark contrasts* His name's Gandhi Marx, and his film is titled*Konangikal*? And, what can one expect to see? To start with, new heroes — Surjith, Lokesh, Ranjith and Suresh who team up with Jillu, a model from Kerala. Says Marx: “I've given a lot of importance to the camera; it is the camera that provides visual treatment to a film. The screenplay dictates the camera angles and cinematography, and they in turnconvey the moods and emotions of the characters and help narrate the story about modern-day youth and their trials and tribulations.” *What next?* That he is a chip off the old block, albeit a more refined one, is slowly emerging. After proving that he is capable of much more than just finger-wagging and delivering punch lines with his stellar performance in *Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya*, Chimbu has stepped behind the microphone to sing a song for composer Yuvan Shankar Raja for the M. Raja-directed *Thillalangadi*. Apparently, hero *Jeyam* Ravi had suggested to his brother Raja that Chimbu sing the song. What next, Chimbu? *See through* Now, what does a transparent bus have to do with *Ethirmarai*? Director G. Arun explains: “We conceived of this idea as a pre-audio launch event to give more visibility to the Ethirmarai team, all of whom are newcomers. The bus will travel across Tamil Nadu, and we will present ourselves to the public through this bus.” *Ethirmarai,* starring Ajaykumar and Dhanushree, is a psychological thriller based on hypnotism. *Classical Rahman* The London Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the works of composer A.R. Rahman on April 7. This unique concert features the first-ever orchestral performance of many of his best-known works. The performance at the Royal Festival Hall, conducted by Matt Dunkleywill be a tribute to the double Oscar/Grammy-winning Rahman.
