The actor and the composer met at a music sitting session in Chennai Ranbir Kapoor is a huge A R Rahman fan. Recently he got a chance to interact with the Oscar-winning music director and also attended a music session with him.
Ranbir was in Chennai with his Rockstar director Imitaz Ali who was meeting the maestro for a sitting. RK tagged along. A source reveals, "The music of Rockstar will be a blend of uptempo and soulful tracks. Since Ranbir plays the title role, Imtiaz wanted him to attend the sitting and give inputs. But Ranbir, totally awestruck by the composer sat silent through out the session." RK's first time Rockstar will have six tracks composed by Rahman. As Ranbir has sung a song for Sajid Nadiadwala's Anjaana Anjaani, the composer teased him about turning crooner. The source adds, "This was the first time Ranbir attended a music sitting and he had a great time. He kept telling Rahman how much he loved his work and that he was thrilled to work with him for the first time." This will be the first time Imtiaz will be working with a composer other than Pritam.
