I think a complete soundtrack for  a movie needn't contain songs that have 
replay value. Some songs are just meant to add value to the screenplay and that 
is what I think these two songs did for the Guru soundtrack. 
Listen-whilst-watching types.

I personally myself did not like these two songs much, and I 

personally felt that ab to sone do was also made too heavy, sad.



may be "Ek lo Ek muft" was a miscast for hindi song whereas such type 

of folksy, talkative songs seems to be commonly used in Tamil music, 

as in Priyanka and in Muthu, and even Jor laga of Chor chor.



Still, there were gems in Guru album, so it can't really be called 

"one of the weakest" album of ARR-Mani. It's tere bina besuadi ratiya 

is my fav, and that rain song is also lovely, and mayya mayya had a 

unique arabian/ turqish touch.
