Guys, What a powerful album this is.......powerful in the sense that it's so concentrated....one of ARR's most emotionally concentrated albums in a very, very long time. There are so many haunting effects spread throughout this gem. For an album that's so short in length, boy does it have the punch!!! Each song delivers a different mood, a different feel, a different sound and the pure emotions in each song are so powerfully communicated, never diluted. What a range and what an impact!!!! I'm so grateful that I'm sensitive enough musically and emotionally to appreciate what ARR has done here....his hard work for this creative masterpiece.
There's so much going on arrangement wise and instrumentally in each track.....it's just amazing....and because the sound is so crisp, nothing ever sounds cluttered or jammed...each layer, each track is crisp and very audible. I wonder if this album is the shortest film album that ARR has ever made...at just under 30 minutes! Can anyone check this? As much as I love the music and feel that this album is a sure classic and one of ARR's finest works, there's a lingering frustrating feeling when the album finishes......perhaps due to the length.......I just feel there should be at least one more track! I can't get rid of this feeling! It's like sitting down to the most delicious meal you've ever tasted, but you can only have one serving in small portions. At the end, you've savored the exquisite taste, but still want more! Some of the songs, like Khili and Beera, have only one antara and you feel like the song should just continue for another couple of minutes with another antara or stanza. Beera barely has a music interlude too. Anyway, these are just minor things.....I am getting more and more addicted to this album everyday. As you've read my first review on it, which was an overall broad review, I may write a second song by song review once I'm able to figure out all the small musical intricacies in each song. I'll need a lot of headphone time with this album until then!
