Am assuming you are using these Cans to listen from your PC with a decent sound 
card. I am not keen to get attached to a PC despite a 10 ft cord for my music 
listening.

How do they sound on a personal mp3 player like Ipod? I think a headphone 
amplifier is almost essential to drive these bad boys if you are using an Ipod 
or a receiver.

Any suggestions for headphones/earphones for mp3 players that does not cost an 
arm and a leg?
