Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai (Jism) is surely something which is able to compete many ARR compositions. One of my heart favorites. From recent albums Paayaliya (Dev D) and Aisi Sazaa (Gulaal) are my favorites too. In fact Paayaliya is the first song that comes to mind thinking of a non-ARR female solo song.
Here is a list of some recent (and some not very recent) non-ARR female solo songs which to me are as good as Khili re or better, along with singer, composer and the rating I gave to each song. I rate Khili re as 6/10, therefore listing all the songs I've rated at least 6/10. This was a good thread as it made me realize that very rarely composers give solo songs to female singers. I have to go back 15-17 years but could only find a few songs. By the way have anyone listened to songs of Rahul Utsav (Vaishnav Deva) and Holiday (Ranjit Barot)?? If not, these are very much recommended. Especially the first one has got a distinct sound, unlike any other composer (barring ARR).
