By all means, buy a touch! it not only is a great portable music player but also a portable wifi device to access internet, personal organizer, game player and even a small netbook - with all its apps that you can buy or download from itunes. .. it offers lots more than just playing music and video.
the sound quality is excellent. but don't use the earphone that comes with it. it is not good at all. instead buy a Sennheiser or Bose earphone depending on your budget. I would recommend sennheiser as it is very cheap compared to bose. i think the cheapest one cost about 1300 Rs.
