After reading some preposterous comments all over the net relatedDI people's reactions to Raavan's music, here's what I have to say:
When you are disappointed by an ARR album, here's what it means: - You have a right to express your disappointment without being disrespectful to ARR or his team. If your words are disrespectful, expect some backlash. - You may need more time with it to settle in and become more familiar. Even after that you don't like it, the music is just not your taste. - It means that your disappointment is your opinion and should be respected as one, which may be shared by others. Here's what your disappointment does NOT mean: - It does NOT mean that ARR's genius is fading or that he needs to be replaced by that particular director for whose film he created music. - It does NOT mean that your opinion is fact. Even if your opinion is shared by a lot of others, it does not make it so. Every ARR album has takers and leavers with very few receiving 100% praise or full consensus, if even that. - It does NOT give you the right to ignore or diminish the hard work that goes into every ARR album, whether you like the music or not. If you express such views, expect some backlash.
