There are layers in the music, even hidden sounds that your audible ears don't get to hear but the mind senses those sounds and acts on it.
There is nothing like that in lyrics. Lyrics are spontaneious understanding and liking or not liking. Of course, meaning, deeper meaning, interpretations are there, yet that is working of conscious mind, whereas unconscious/ superconscious minds work on many layers in the music. So, it is music that has the power to grow. Now, a music lover would pay attention to music first, and let the music grow, and once it grows to a reasonable degree, then only does he bother about the lyrics, listens to them for the first time, and then understand and then finds interpretation. So, it is only music that can grow, but that growing process keeps one so occupied that he doesn't pay attention to the lyrics to like them. That is homemade Dr Rawat's theory just thought and coined.
