 World sounds

A.R. Rahman. The name may not be familiar. Unless you're a fan of "Slumdog
Millionaire," for which Rahman won two Academy Awards, for best score and
best song. Hailed as having redefined Indian music, Rahman brings his
"Journey Home" tour to Boardwalk Hall Saturday night. For tickets, visit

Bringing their

'A' game

I pity the fool who's not aware of this week's big movie debut. Guilty
pleasure '80s series "The A-Team" gets a contemporary reboot, with Liam
Neeson, above, Bradley Cooper, Quinton "Rampage" Jack-son and Sharlto Copley
starring as a quartet of Iraq War veterans wrongfully accused of committing
a crime. Jessica Biel adds the eye candy for fanboys, as if the barrage of
explosions won't be enough.

'Bionic' girl

It's been four years since Christina Aguilera's last album of originals, but
the drought ends Tuesday when the singer unleashes "Bionic." The regular
disc contains 18 tracks, with the deluxe edition adding five more. Remember
when the pop world revolved around onetime "Mickey Mouse Club" mates
Aguilera and Britney Spears? It's been a while, but "Bionic" is Aguilera's
play to reclaim her place amongst the dance-pop elite.

In the hole?

Tiger Woods' troubles have been well publicized. We'll see whether his
turbulent personal life and uneven golf game affects his marketing muscle
when "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11" hits stores Tuesday. How gamers react to it
could indicate how far Woods' star has fallen.
