Hope it's not a repost. It wasn't Sivamani. The drummer looked like an Oriental (more like Korean/Japanese face). I aslo have to mention the female artist who played violin and Chello, she was amazing. Also the guitarist was wonderful.
Forgot to mention Blaaze was also there The songs starting from bole bole to Managlyam were bits, not the entire songs. Oorvasi was started and ended with Taxi, Taxi. I saw ARR's concert at the same Nassau Colesium 10 years back. ARR has definitely graduated more of a performer now. He looked very comfortable. I'm sure they are going improvise as the tour goes along. ARR did a small MJ piece with the kid. The kid appeared at the beginning and throughout the concert. The kid was doing an 'act' of looking for something. Looks like finally he found ARR and they closed the show with both of them standing next to each other. The Lup ke Chupki song was amazing on the sets. They did a projection of hologram of Lata singing with ARR singling live. The sets were fantastic. Everyone hyped about the dancers. Somehow I wasn't paying attention to them. There was enough excitement with all the singers. I assume the dancers did a ok job. There weren't the main attraction for me. Overall worth every penny of the $75 I spent. BTW, there were a lot of empty seats in the $125+ sections.
