Sorry I dont compare as I had been telling I just enjoy.
Pls dont contradict to urself, u had said AR had challenged Sir JW in ur
previous posts for which I had to write and now u talk about influence.
The term Genre is very complicated to me and now I am confused with your
explanation. What i just do while watching is observe how well the notes, cues
& blend match to the visuals influencing in audio.
Well Yodha too has the layering I remember lot of synthesized sounds being used
in the scores & sorry again I am finding it difficult to match those with Sir
JW's scores, might be my little knowledge. Sir JW has a special way using horns
which is the highlight in his scores Saving private Ryan and catch me if u can
however were among exceptions.
When it comes to BGM I sincerely agree I am a fan of Sir JW and Hans Zimmer
even to their recent scores to that extent that I sometimes praise the director
for utilizing them.
some of my fav AR BGM are from
Iruvar,
Lagaan,
Bombay
Dil Se,
Alaipyuthey
Thiruda Thiruda,
Kannattil Muttamittal,
Duet
1947 earth
Legend of Bhagat Singh
Swades
