Movies work on means of arithmetic and not reviews. Its a function of numbers. 
Being such a huge film, By the time people figure out whats wrong with Raavan 
its a hit just by the number of theater guests. These days the metric of 25 
days, 50 days is gone. Weekend openings matter because they do this carpet 
bombing of prints for the opening weekend.

If the film opens at 70% occupancy for the opening weekend and sustains to 40 
to 50% occupancy  for the first week then the cost plus is recovered more or 
less, unless its a big budget film. I mean really big budget...

Raavan will make its money....now take your perceptions in your pocket
