In my 2 cents of analyzing
Dilse is the best in sound design, mixing and engineering and KK had the best
classical compilations ranging from Carnatic to Western.
Kannamoochi, Enge yenadu kavitai had explored Indian classics
while Kandukondein Kandukondein & Smile had graced the Western classics like no
other.
Yenna solla pogiraayi had elements of fusion with mid east blending with an
Indian classic.
KK stands as a perfect example of the Genius by AR. Whenever you come across
people whine that he isn't a great composer. make them listen to KK and check
their brilliance in classics and challenge if they have anytime found a MD who
has done this kind of an album.
