Opinions may certainly differ on this issue (Gimmics). I for one am not in favor of the dances, lights, Fireworks etc as they certainly distract the attention from the beautiful melody of ARR's songs.
Basically ARR's music is so powerful and spiritually uplifting, it works best if you just close your eyes and let the sound percolate deep within your heart....... I guess, these "so called" gimmics may be useful to get the sponsors... And probably it is not expected that the sponsors be diehard Rahmaniacs.... Jai HO !
