ARR released Couple's Retreat, Delhi 6 and above all, VINNAI THANDI VARUVAYA after the Oscars....he has lost nothing!...He is int he MOST INNOVATIVE phase of his career (would amazing songs like Dil Gira Dafatan and Ommana Penne have been possible 10 years back??...No.) ARR is not an idiot....I think he knows better than anyone about how to market himself!...Doing tours is part of a musician's job...in America...a band tours for a whole year after releasing an album...why can't ARR do the same if he wants??....also..I don't like people saying ARR does his best in Hindi...in Tamil...in w/e...no point in dividing ARR's music by language...a good album is good regardless of language....i'd say he is equally good in all the languages he does....i mean....Jodhaa Akbar are Azhagiya Tamizh Magan are both masterpieces, just diff. types of masterpieces.....let ARR evolve and try new things!...after all isn't that what makes him the composer he is?....and those who say he didn't capitalize on his opportunities in the West....he's coming out with a private album in the future with internationally renowned artists...these things take time (as all good things do)...also....remember, that ARR is not the type to make something just for sales and/or awards...he is devoted to MUSIC and just wants to make the best music that he can....as long as he does this, what else matters??
