Ever since its announcement, 1-800 Love has constantly been in the news. Now, a
dandiya song has been added to the film, starring John Abraham and Tyrewalla's
wife Pakhi, which is all set to release this Navratri. And keeping the festival
in mind, the director has just wrapped up the film's shoot with a pacy dandiya
track. Initially, Tyrewalla was to use another romantic number that he had
recorded with composer AR Rahman.

"But then we decided to release the film on October 15, and since Dussehra is
on October 17, Abbas felt that a dandiya track would be more suitable," informs
producer Madhu Mantena.

So Tyrewalla recorded the song with Rahman about two weeks ago, after the
latter returned to the city from the US. Abraham, Pakhi and the rest of the
cast participated in the picturisation of the song, which concluded on Tuesday,
under the choreography of Ahmed Khan.

Mantena asserts that the dandiya number won't hamper the narration of the film,
since it fits in exactly where the other track was supposed to be. The earlier
song they recorded will not feature in the album.

"Rahman's songs are precious. We can't afford to waste it by including it in
the album when we haven't used it in the movie," he reiterates. About his
actor's moves, Mantena enthuses, "John is pretty good at dandiya.

So much so that we were all amazed. He's one of the fittest actors in the
industry and a viral flu can't keep him down."
