Oh yes, Gayathri! Not sure how I missed Iruvar. Great choreography except may be for Kannai Katti which lacked uniqueness but I guess the script needed it to replicate an MGR movie in that song.

I agree with Indmovboff in this- Maniratnam is the best when it comes to the picturisations of songs. Shankar is no doubt, great with graphics and grandeur presentation- I still smile whenever I see Chikku Bukku (with the arrows shooting out from Prabhu Deva's eyes, or the smoke fuming out from his ears!) but somehow I've always been partial to Maniratnam's simple and elegant picturisation- the passion in Uyire Uyire, the demure Kannalane, the vivacious Chinna Chinna Aasai, the high spirited Chaiya Chaiya, the mysterious Satrangi Re and most importantly, the amazingly shot Iruvar songs!
