I don't think ANY composer in India can compose a like like Puthiya Manitha the with the same arrangements, sound, mood, spirituality that Rahman has composed in that combination. Sure, any MD can create a melody like that, but this song is a masterpiece IMO for many reasons that only Rahman can imbue.
