Guys,

Honestly, this is below the ARR standards, which are so high and gets higher
with time..again this is what I feel, not generalising on any opinion. It
failed to grow in me despite several hearings. But its fine...we cannot expect
Tendulkar to score a century in every match, Bill Gates to be on the top of
billionaires list forever and ARR to have all his songs as
super-duper-first-hearing hit.

thanks

Few years back, i was in a gathering where people were sayin AR Rahman is
spoiling the present music scene with 'computer music' and all his songs sound
same with 'western beats' and no proper pronunciation.

I ignored it and later played this track called Poo Kodiyin Punnagai from
Iruvar. They all said...." look at those days music..what melody and each word
is so clear and soft to ears...these days rahman and other can't even imaging
to compose music like this....!"

to this i replied ..." This track is by AR Rahman ..from Iruvar.. .." they were
just dump struck and chewed their own words..

( for those of you unaware, this track sounds very retro like those in Black
and White days..killer track!!)

So the point is, if we approach things with pre-conceived notion, nothing can
change the mindset.

Commonwealth games has a not lot negative air now. What with scams, incomplete
works and New Delhi dug up...people are not happy. One theme song can't improve
things and it will succumb to pressures. Even if Rahman would have composed a
fast track like Waka Waka, Maro Maro ( Boys)...people would have said the same.

We are dealing with politicians here...remember!

So chill.
