the line "khelo, jeeyo, hey-o, lets go", is once rendered without percussions and I can find another 4 times were the percussion arrangement is different for that line at different places in the CWG song. all in unison, the percussion adds lilting effect to the song and towards the end it turns into bhangra-ish.
as the music director Alphons rightly mentioned about the international appeal of this song, my gut feeling says that this song will appeal to international audience is publicized well (now, is that going to happen?)
