I guess this article says it all - you write a list of Top 10 duds and you actually struggle to come up with 10. Beyond Parasuram, nothing in that list is a dud. VTV would rank among his biggest hits. As would Jeans. Has the person even listened to the score of Water? Since when did the fact that the music was not released a criterion for judging it's success?
I am reminded of this recent exchange between Apple CEO Steve Jobs and Valleywag Editor Ryan Tate, following the iPhone 4 death-grip issue, in which Jobs asked Tate, “Why are you so bitter over a technical issue,” and, “what have you done that’s so great? Do you create anything, or just criticize others’ work and belittle their motivations?” That's all that journalism has come to today. Every two-bit 14-yr old with a computer and an internet connection can write any trash and reach a million people. Except, we are not talking about 14-year olds but 40-yr old imbeciles.
