Rahman earns such respect from his fans (and non-fans also) not only for his music... but also for his behavior, nature, down to earth personality, and not bad mouthing against anyone. That's why speaking good of Rahman becomes intelligent, caring, creative etc etc.
Perhaps other musicians learn these non-professional etiquette to earn respect like Rahman. Rahman single handedly lifted Sukhi's voice in entire India, that should not be forgotten by Sukhi. Which Sukhi is telling is noting but lying and that cant be tolerated (at least by me). I think if Sukhi is not happy for not performing at the Oscar stage (which I also wanted him to perform) he could have told that he was never invited by Rahman and he got unhappy for the same instead of uttering such baseless lies.
