We've integrated Word spell check using OLE for the desktop
client, but it didn't work during our MT testing. We were also told by BMC
Support that it does not work on mid-tier.
One of BMC's SE folks gave us a demo of the 7.0
MT two weeks ago, and they were using a free browser plug-in (IE Spell) to
do their spell checking on the MT. That solution would require an install by
each individual that wanted to use the product. We didn't want to go that route,
so we're investigating a server based spell checker called JSpell for our MT
implementation. It appears to be robust enough and very reasonably
priced.
